David's Degenerate Art Links

Well, what you've got here is your basic lame-o first attempt at a homepage. I don't normally waste my time looking at this sort of crapola, and, frankly, I wouldn't recommend that you do either. Still, whatever turns you on. Anyway, if you're still with me, let's get down to the nitty gritty: I like an enormous variety of stuff, and one ot the kinds of stuff that I like is early twentieth century German art, especially Otto Dix, Oskar Kokoschka, and George Grosz I think I've got them all spelled right. Usually I see them lumped together with the Expressionist movement, but terms like verist, new objectivity and so forth have been tacked to various among them. Whatever.

Me, I prefer degenerate art, as the Nazis branded it. If I were an artist, and I'm not, I'm a musician, and I'll be telling you about that someday, but not now, not yet, anyway, like I was saying, if I were an artist, I would view the term as a badge of honor. Here are some links I like.

Oh, three more things. First, I really wanted to include more links, but such are the limitations of this template. Second, I meant absolutely nothing by these pictures. I simply picked them from the library because they're bizarre. Third, yes it says to e-mail me at the bottom, but, no, I'm probably not interested in hearing from you.
